Volunteers Wanted!
We are seeking individuals who are interested in helping us spread mulch on our new paddling trail. Call Melissa Parrish Pittman or Mike Fields at 864-529-0259 for more information.
Interested in working in the great outdoors? If so, then come on out to GOLS. We are always looking for volunteers to help with our programs. We have many projects and programs that need the kind of touch volunteers can bring. Here are a few areas where we are always looking for help:
-mountain biking instruction
-kayaking instruction
-climbing instruction
-birding & botany guiding
-gardening know-how
-arts & crafts
-service learning
-team building, leadership & group development
-camping
-hiking
Donations
We're always seeking donations of equipment, supplies, or financial support for our programs and operations
costs. If you would like to give financially please call Melissa Parrish Pittman GOLS director for more information. We will be happy to provide a receipt of donation for tax purposes. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
We currently need:
- arts & crafts and educational
supplies
- recreational/camping supplies (gently used kayaks, canoes, paddles, trekking poles, tents, backpacks, and fly rods etc.)
- lawn and garden equipment (i.e. mowers, blowers, weedeaters, etc.
- Youth mountain bikes
