Adventure Quest |

Adventure Quest is a way to include younger children in opportunities to explore
the great outdoors. We want to teach grade school-aged children the
importance of getting in touch with nature. Instructor Melisa Emkjer
will help students discover the world around them through hiking, rock climbing,
mountain biking, and camping adventures with an emphasis on natural and
environmental science. This age appropriate 1.5 hour, after-school course
runs one day a week for six weeks.

Adventure Quest and The Boys
and Girls Clubs of the UpstateWe are happy to be
starting our second year of Adventure Quest for local Boys and
Girls Clubs of the Upstate. In 2010-2011, afterschool groups
from local districts took part in our six-week program and
learned about our natural environment through hands-on
activities. For 2011-2012, we look forward to continuing this
program with the wonderful students from our area.
