Adventure Quest

Adventure Quest is a way to include younger children in opportunities to explore the great outdoors.  We want to teach grade school-aged children the importance of getting in touch with nature.  This program will introduce boys and girls to how fun it is getting their hands dirty. Instructor Melissa Emkjer will help this class discover the world around them through hiking, rock climbing, camping adventures and fishing with an emphasis on natural and environmental science.  This age appropriate 1.5 hour, after-school course runs one day a week for six weeks.  It is fascinating to see the excitement in young children’s eyes when they discover something new.  Watch them blossom as they discover the wonders of our natural world.
